About Alliance

Jamie Trudeau, NCC, LPC, CADC III
Counseling and Psychotherapy, EAGALA Certified

Jamie Trudeau earned a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2011 from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She has been approved and board certified as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC III) in the state of Oregon. When possible, she enjoys using experiential techniques such as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and is certified in using the EAGALA model (Equine Assisted Growth and Learning), which provides a standard and structure for providing Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning sessions. Jamie uses a non-directive, client-centered approach when working with individuals because she believes it allows the client the opportunity to identify issues most relevant to themselves. She works with the guiding principle that only the client knows the best course of treatment. Her goal is to empower the client to define that direction.
