Alliance Counseling Center was developed by some of the best therapists in the field.
Alliance strives to help clients stay in treatment and make permanent,
positive changes in their lives. Although Alliance specializes
in the treatment of eating disorders, services are provided to
those suffering all types of mental health issues.
Team Treatment for Lasting Change
Alliance Counseling Center is committed to an intensive, team treatment approach. This means that we co-ordinate a broad-based collection of treatment professionals from our community. The team of therapists, nutritionists
and primary care physicians we build for you are veterans in the field of eating disorder treatment and are committed to working closely with us in a time-tested, closely connected clinical forum. Alliance also strives to include family
members and friends in a concerted effort to develop an inclusive
environment that fully supports the changes our clients seek to
make. In addition to the clinically focused hours in your personalized treatment plan, we may also guide you toward self-directed support for your recovery. These additional hours might include our free support group, Yoga, journaling, carefully tailored exercise and other activities which enhance and augment your treatment. With all these pieces in place, our goal in providing you with Intensive Treatment is to build a weekly schedule that encourages you to participate in your recovery in some active way every day of the week.
Equine Assisted Therapy Program
In patnership with Heron Hill Arabians, Alliance Counseling Center provides services through Harmony in Motion, our equine assisted psychotherapy program. Alliance Counseling Center is recognized as holding to a standard of care that extends to the work with horses. Harmony in Motion is under the quality leadership of Joyce Korschgen, LPC, EAP.
