Joyce Korschgen, LPC, EAP has been in private practice for 25 years. Her background includes direct service staff counselor at the Portland Adventist Eating Disorder Program and co-founder of A Better Way Counseling Center. Her commitment to “team treatment” as the cornerstone of recovery work inspired the founding of the Portland Eating Disorder Recovery Alliance (PEDRA.) An avid horsewoman and amateur competitor, Joyce is the force behind Harmony in Motion, Alliance Counseling Centers’ Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) program.
